Under the guidance of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the System and Organization Controls SOC 2 examination establishes guidelines for how a cloud-based service provider processes sensitive data. A SOC 2 examination covers both the appropriateness of the organization’s controls surrounding this data, and the organization’s effectiveness at executing their established protocols. The examination covers many areas, including risk management, security monitoring, organizational structure, and the organization’s handling of data.

Bernard Robinson & Company, L.L.P., an independent auditing service headquartered in North Carolina, conducted Corevist’s SOC 2 Type 2 examination.
